IKEA, home to cavernous aisles of DIY bookcases and savory Swedish meatballs, has gone to the dogs … and cats.

The retailer has debuted Lurvig, a line of pet furniture, for Fido and Fluffy.

The lineup, due in stores this month, includes sleek pet beds, nooks in bookcases, perches and carrier cases. Prices range from $6 for a small cat house to $50 for a pet bed or sofa.

Items include a cat scratching mat ($5.99) that can be wrapped around table and chair legs. Tuck a pet cushion into a modern end table and you’ve got the Lurvig cat house ($49.99).

DIY furniture assemblers will see familiar lines in the Lurvig pet beds ($24.99), which resemble a drawer from a basic IKEA dresser.

A Klippan sofa ($49.99) folds out for extra-large dogs or cats that hog the furniture. Lurvig also includes cat litter pans, travel gear and toys.
