No arrests were made, but nothing appeared to be missing, cops said.

A popular bagel store in Jersey City was broken into and vandalized early Monday morning, police said.

The front window of Wonder Bagels on Danforth Avenue was shattered by an unknown object when the store was burglarized sometime before 12:40 a.m., a police report indicates.

In addition to the shattered glass, police reported that a lock on a metal gate over the backdoor was missing and the mechanism that would keep it in place had been cut, according to the report.

The officers entered the business, which is located just off Route 440, but did not find any burglars inside. A Wonder Bagels employee responded to see if anything had been stolen and told police everything appeared to be in order, the report states.

The report did not specify whether the store would be open Monday. A call placed to the Danforth Avenue eatery after business hours went unanswered.

No arrests had been made at the time the police report was generated.
