Spring training complex and ballpark
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick (7555 North Pima Road, Scottsdale, Ariz.) has been the Rockies’ spring home since 2011. The complex includes an 11,000-seat capacity ballpark, 12 practice fields and office buildings that include the major- and minor-league clubhouses and training facilities. The complex is near Indian Bend Road and the 101 Freeway.
Tuesday: First official workout for pitchers and catchers
Feb. 19: First official workout for position players
Feb. 23: First Cactus League game, vs. Diamondbacks, 1:10 p.m. Salt River Field
How to watch
Workouts, practices and “B-squad” games are open to the public at no charge. However, certain areas are restricted and are not open to the public. Salt Rivers Fields is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during spring training.
