Dave and Buster’s in the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne officially opens its doors to the public on Wednesday. It will be the second location in the state and 109th in the country.

The food, drink and entertainment venue is outfitted with more than 165 games, 500 seats, dining area and a multipurpose room. Games range from classic games like Skee-Ball and Pac-Man to life-size phone apps like Fruit Ninja and Star Wars games.

Dave and Buster’s will be open daily at 11 a.m. with some late nights, closing Sundays through Wednesdays at 12 a.m., Thursdays at 1 a.m. and Friday and Saturday at 2 a.m.

The Wayne venue comes on the tail of the opening of Woodbridge’s Dave and Buster’s, which opened in November. Both locations were able to open after former Gov. Christie lifted a 56-year ban on the pairing of alcohol sales and amusement games.

“We’re thrilled to be in New Jersey. We’ve been looking to come here sometime but because of the gaming laws, we couldn’t,” said general manager Dan McGuiness. “It’s the perfect place for a Dave and Buster’s.”
