Wide receiver Dez Bryant is out for revenge after being released by the Dallas Cowboys on Friday, and says he would welcome the chance to extract it as a member of the Giants.

“The Giants got a helluva defense, they’re going to pay OBJ,” Bryant told CBS Sports, via GiantsWire. “Playing with him, Sterling [Shepard] … the tight end [Evan Engram], [Eli] Manning? Prior to being released, Bryant caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns in 2017, but has accounted for 531 receptions for 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns while averaging 14.0 yards per catch over 113 career games.

If the Giants have any interest in signing Bryant, it’s a move that Odell Beckham Jr. would welcome.

“He’s like a brother to me,” Beckham said in 2016. “We’re very similar in a lot of ways. We’ve had a closer bond since last season going into the offseason. So to be able to get out there … we thank God all the time for being able to play the game that we love … and to love it so much, and the opportunities that we have in front of us.”
