Aspiring singers and dancers will be lining up for their shot at The Show.

A Calgary performing arts company, The Show is holding auditions May 26 for its elite dance and vocal division called the Headliners. These are talented singers and dancers aged 16 to 25.

The Show provides year-round training, occasionally with touring artists, and opportunities to perform in junior (ages 9-12), senior (13-18) and Headliner divisions and registration is open now for the junior and senior groups.

Public shows are performed twice a year in the city but the troupe also creates custom performances for events like the Mayor’s Arts Lunch and Alberta Children’s Hospital Candy Cane Gala.

A unique aspect to this group is its ongoing music video series that has featured guest artists such as Cirque du Soleil performer Lizzy Munson and Canadian country duo Leaving Thomas.
