The winning Powerball numbers were drawn Wednesday, May 16, at 11 p.m. The Powerball jackpot drawing tonight (5/16/2018) is worth an estimated $280 million for a single winner.
More than two months have passed since the twice-weekly Powerball jackpot was won, pushing the top prize for Wednesday’s lottery drawing to $280 million.
The cash option for the 10:59 p.m. drawing is $167.3 million. It will be televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the conclusion of the drawing.

Saturday’s drawing also didn’t produce wither a jackpot or second-prize winners across the country. One ticket sold in New Jersey matched four numbers plus the Power Ball and is worth $50,000.
The winning numbers Saturday were: 22, 42, 45, 55 and 56. The Power Ball drawn was 14.
The Powerball jackpot has been climbing since someone bought the winning ticket for the $456.7 million drawing of March 17 at a Manheim, Pennsylvania gas station. Emerald Legacy Trust claimed the cash prize of $273,959,698 and the winner(s) received $199,798,807.75 after state and federal taxes were deducted.
A Powerball ticket costs $2. The odds of hitting the jackpot are 292,201,338 to 1. Players have roughly a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to win the second prize of at least $1 million.
Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington D.C, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
