A recap of the Broncos’ second mandatory minicamp session on Wednesday:
Receivers injured. Three receivers – Demaryius Thomas (foot), Kenny Bell (hamstring) and Carlos Henderson (hamstring) joined the injury report. Thomas was shut down during Tuesday’s workout. Henderson did some side-field rehabilitation Wednesday but Bell and Thomas watched.
Continuing to miss practice were linebacker Shane Ray (wrist), guard Ron Leary (knee), right tackle Jared Veldheer (foot), tight end Troy Fumagalli (groin), receiver Jordan Taylor (hips) and defensive lineman Clinton McDonald (shoulder).
There were no visible injuries. Tight end Matt LaCosse talked to trainers after he hit the deck following a catch in the end zone (hit from behind).
Ware debuts. Former pass rusher DeMarcus Ware debuted as an official pass rush consultant. Coach Vance Joseph said Ware will be with the Broncos periodically during the season and possibly at home games.
On Wednesday Ware worked with the pass rushers and defensive linemen during practice.
