Authorities are offering a reward to anyone who can provide leads on the killing of a woman whose dismembered and burned remains were found in a Cumberland County field.

The body of Tonya M. Cook, 32, of Vineland, was found July by a passerby at Lummistown and Banks roads in Cedarville, Lawrence Township.

The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office will offer up to $1,000 for information that leads to the conviction of those responsible.

Cook is known to have ties throughout Cumberland County, police previously noted.

Anyone with information about Cook’s death is asked to contact the New Jersey State Police Port Norris Station at 856-785-0036. Tips may also be submitted to the prosecutor’s office by using the CCPOTIP app, by going to the agency’s Facebook page or website, or by texting to 847411 with CCPOTIP and your message.

A candlelight vigil in Cook’s memory is planned for Thursday night at 7 at the location where she was found.

Cook’s family launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover her funeral expenses.
