2 stabbed in area of Jersey City mall, authorities say

The two people wounded were taken to the Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. Two people were stabbed Saturday night around a Jersey City mall, authorities said. The victims, described as young adults, were wounded “in or around the area of the Newport Centre mall,” according to Jersey City Public Safety Press Secretary Kim Wallace-Scalcione. Both of the victims were taken to the Jersey City Medical Center with what Wallace-Scalcione described as non-life threatening injuries.
