A new study by The Zebra, which calls itself the largest insurance-pricing site around, shows rates at an all-time high around the country while they’re up more than 45 percent since 2011 here in the San Jose/San Francisco/Oakland metro region. Another leak of deadly carbon monoxide gas tied to water heaters at Airdrie apartment complex

For the second time in a week, the Airdrie Fire Department has rushed to an apartment complex in the city for a carbon monoxide (CO) incident A resident of a large, four-story apartment complex located at 700 Willowbrook Road, had a CO detector go off in her main level apartment at 12:14 a.m. Friday and called the fire department from the lobby. Fire crews found elevated levels of the deadly gas in the immediate area and pulled the complex’s alarm system to evacuate residents.
