Sherrone Moore reveals what Wolverines needs.
The Michigan football offensive fought last weekend in a defeat against Oklahoma, and the problems began with the offensive line. There was not much impulse, and Field Marshal Bryce Underwood didn’t have much time to launch football. Sherrone Moore knows that if this team will succeed, the offensive line should step on.
Not everything was bad from the offensive line last weekend, but there was not good enough. Positive plays are a good sign, but for the offensive to succeed, the line or You need one thing: consistency.
“It has to be consistent,” said Sherrone Moore earlier this week, according to an article from 247Sports. “When you play five or play seven offensive linens, you have to have consistency. And there are some things that I thought we could have done, and we have talked about it as a staff, to return to that you could have combined your defense.”
The consistency was a big problem against Oklahoma. While the line or helped create some big plays, it didn’t look good for most of the game.
“It was consistency, because there are times when there are huge holes,” Moore added. “There are times when there is movement in the scrimmage line. And there are times when there are things that are leaks and loose.”
Moore knows that there is much to work for the unit, and trusts that they will get where they need to be.
“It’s collective,” he said. “They are not just the players, not just the coaches; they are all together. And we will continue working forward to make sure we clean up all those things.”
Michigan’s offensive line should be able to play better this weekend against center of Michigan. The Wolverines and Chippewas will begin Noon et on Saturday from the Michigan stadium in Ann Arbor, and the game will be broadcast on the Big Ten network. Wolverines are currently favored by 27.5 points.
