The upper female rugby star of England faces the ban when the video of the male reflex becomes global
Referee Oliver Salmon accused Sinead Peach of making the horrible comment before sending it
The main female rugby star, Sinead Peach, faces a potentially large prohibition on Thursday after being accused of a shocking comment to a male referee who has surprised the world’s broader rugby world.
Peach’s images supposedly make a vulgar accusation towards Oliver Salmon official worldwide and left stunned fans after the incident in the female Super League match between his York Valkyrie and St Helens team.
After York was penalized near his own line, while 16-8 behind in the 79th minute, Captain Peach was expelled for dissent after the official’s decision left him.
While his comment was not heard in the transmission, the reprimand of the angry official was when he issued the red card.
“I am not making you say: ‘What are S *******?’. You are out,” referee Oliver Salmon is heard.
WARNING: Bad language
He left the commentators panting, the spectators surprised and caused a reaction as far as New Zealand and Australia when the incident went viral.
England International Peach, who is one of the best sports players, now faces a disciplinary audience on Thursday, has been confirmed.
There is little precedent for such a comment, which means that the duration of any possible prohibition is difficult to evaluate.
Peach has not yet commented on the incident.
Fans reacted with astonishment online. One said: “The crazy to tell an referee who only begs for shipping there.”
Another added: “Imagine that a male player told a female referee! The prohibition of a lifetime, something ridiculous and publicly embarrassed! The protest would be huge!”
The Rugby Soccer League confirmed that Peach’s red card will be considered by the game’s review panel on Thursday.
Peach, 27, has taken York to consecutive victories of the Grand Final in 2023 and 2024 and was named a steel woman in October 2023.
York officials were not immediately available to comment.
