Columbus, Ohio – Clark Kellogg, a former basketball of the state of Ohio, will serve as the bell of victory before the OSU football team receives Ohio on Saturday.

Kellogg was recently enshrined in the Naismith Basketball Hall and received the Curt Gowdy Media Award.

It has spent more than three decades working for CBS, serving as an accessory in the coverage of the NCAA tournament network.

Kellogg grew up in Cleveland, where he attended St. Joseph High School. He spent his university career in the state of Ohio, where he played between 1979 and 82.

The Pacers selected Kellogg with the eighth general selection in the NBA Draft of 1982. He scored almost 5,000 points in his professional career (1982-87) and collected 2,482 rebounds.

Kellogg has been in the Athletics Hall of Athletics of the State of Ohio since 2001. Since 2010-19, it served at the University Board of Trustees.

Ohio State began a new tradition this year in implementing a bell bell prior to the game. The two -time Heisman trophy winner, Archie Griffin, played the role in week 1, while former coach John Cooper did it last week.
