UNC begins Bill Belichick’s football debut with events of events all day at the Campus :: Wral.com

UNC is making all the stops for fans with an event alignment before the Bill Billichick’s American University Football Coaching debut for the Tar Heels.

“We have had some high -energy games and highly anticipated before, but I don’t remember anything like this,” said Rick Steinbacher, director of Senior Associate Athletics of UNC.

Steinbacher said the university wanted to match the energy of the game with activities prior to the game for fans.

With that, the first performance of UNC of the ‘Chapel Thrill concert series’ will begin with the country music star and the former Carolina soccer player, Chase Rice, Monday night.

The concert of the Monday Night chapel is the first of the six concerts before the Games at Casa de la UNC.

The series will be in Polk Place of the Wilson Library.

“You know, Polk Place, the bell tower, the amphitheater in front of the soccer center … We have no huge surface parking lots, but we have beautiful grass covered areas,” Steinbacher said. “Let’s do something bigger and better for Chase Rice to start it, [we’re] Really grateful that he was willing to start with us. “

There will be a DJ in the concert space four hours before the game, but Chase Rice will perform from 6 pm, followed by the March Heels on stage around 7 pm.

Before the concert begins, fans will have the opportunity to encourage Bill Belichick and the team closely.

The university is bringing back the old walk. Belichick and the team will walk from the old well, through Polk Place, beyond the bell tower and the stadium around 5:30 pm

“For coach Belichick and the team getting off in the old well and walking throughout the emotion of the chapel, you know, almost before the Chase Rice begins concert, it will be fantastic,” Steinbacher said.

The beginning is at 8 pm for more information about the event, including the items and the bags allowed in the stadium and a complete event schedule, see this previous view prior to the game.
