Utah Football Salta in Week 3 AP TOP 25 Survey

Lake Salt City – Utah’s football increased five places from No. 25 to No. 20 in the survey of week three top 25, which was launched on Sunday.

After making a statement with a great victory over UCLA in week one, Utah’s football was in charge of business against a FCS opponent in the second week. They kept the Cal Poly Mustangs out of the final zone, winning 63-9.

In La Victoria, Campo Mariscal Devon Dampier continued his early success. He completed 17 of 23 pass attempts for 192 yards and three touchdowns. The defense also continued to be impressive, with three catches, nine cups for loss and two interceptions, and one returns one for a touchdown.

The UTES will go on the road again in the third week, heading to Laramie to face the Wyoming cowboys.

The rest of the Big 12 classifications

Utah is one of the three Big 12 teams classified in the edition of week three of the survey.

Last week, there were four teams of the conference in the survey, and Utah was classified as the lowest in the group. The state of Arizona fell from the classification, and the UTES jumped to Texas Tech, placing them ahead of the Raiders Network, but even behind the cyclones of the Iowa state.

Asu still received votes and is a less place that is classified in number 26. Byu is a place behind them. TCU and Baylor are the other schools to receive votes.
