The former field marshal of the Pro Bowl, Derek Carr, does not rule out a possible return

While enjoying life as a retreat NFL The field marshal, Derek Car does not completely rule out a possible return at some point.

Carr, 34, retired in May after an 11 -year career with the Raiders and Saints. He said that his agent has been maintaining it voluntarily about it with respect to possible NFL opportunities.

“He said: ‘At least give me thanksgiving to try to convince you.” Carr said of his agent during a recent appearance in Dan Patrick’s show.

Carr was asked as a follow -up if he would ever consider a return to football.

“I would not say, no, never, because I have learned that when I ever say, it usually happens,” he said. “I think we have probably learned that. So for me, at this time, I am training because I love to train, as, that will be the rest of my life. I love to train. I throw a football ball from time to time in the front with my children and with my friend, you know, for fun, because it is part of my rehabilitation even by my shoulder. You know, I am still trying to get that of my shot and all that is and all that is.

“And then I am still doing those things. And I always felt like, even if I have finished, if God wanted him to do it, I have to be ready. I don’t want to go out and not be ready, you know. So I will be ready, but I will not come back. As, at this time, today, I will not come back.”

As Carr said, he is still working on an important shoulder injury that many assumed contributed to his decision to withdraw. Even if I wanted to play football again, Carr’s shoulder would obviously have to be healthy enough to perform at the required level of a NFL -holding field marshal.

Carr made quite clear that, at this point, he does not have a burning desire to return. As is currently, Carr had a successful career that included four bowl literas and the title as a career leader of the Raiders career. Carr is also largely responsible for the only two appearances in the Raiders playoffs since the last Super Bowl Appearance in 2002.

Carr remains busy in retirement. Together with the breach of the transmission, Carr is training its two middle -aged children. He said that he often imitates his former coach, Jon Gruden, during his children’s practices.

At this point, it seems that the chances of Carr Juen to professional football are again scarce. That said, it seems that Carr would at least consider a return if the correct opportunity was presented.
